ABOUT MY ART

My work is largely two dimensional illustrations, although I enjoy playing with various framing techniques that create a 3D effects.  My most current body of work focuses on my small illustration pieces as well as some nature photography.

I take special orders and commissions.

ABOUT ME

I grew up visiting the Bay Area each summer to spend time with my Grandparents who were Mill Valley locals for over 30 years.  The time I spent with them in the shadow of Mt. Tam made an imprint on my heart that has never faded.  Seven years ago I had the opportunity to make Mill Valley my home and I have not looked back since.  My heart finds happiness at the site of Mt. Tam every day. The home is truly where the heart is.

I have been extremely fortunate to have been working as a local Mill Valley art teacher for the last 6 years. I studied Art Education and Child Psychology at The State University of New York, New Paltz, and Eastern Michigan University.  I have been teaching for over 10 years, and have found it to truly be the best job in the world.  My specialty is in art education and early childhood education, focusing in the Reggio Emilia approach.  I hope remain here in the Bay Area as long as I dare to dream.  To accomplish this goal, I have begun to share my artwork and photography in order to support living and breathing.
